Post Birthday Thoughts - Seemed Like Yesterday

I've been trying to create an entry since 4am this morning. At first the entry was supposed to be sent via email but I thought I'd do it at home when I arrive. But my blasted PC wouldn't turn on, and it took me 8 freakin' hours just to make it work. We need to have this fixed whatever's causing the problem. My hunch is more of a hardware one since it hasn't been upgraded for years already.

Anyway, so goes my last post for November. It's officially December, and there are a few more weeks to go before Christmas. And then New Year.

I've just turned 27 almost 2 weeks ago and it seemed it was just yesterday. I was with my girlfriend 8 months ago before she left the country again but it just seemed to be like yesterday. I was in Singaopre 3 years ago, almost 4, but it seemed to be like yesterday. So it is true what our substitute teacher once told us before when we were in 3rd year high school - each year will pass by faster than the previous one. He said that 11 years ago. Seemed like yesterday.

When December 1, 2006 comes, I hope I'll look at this entry again this time with a smile, with my wife already beside me. <sigh>

What Were They Thinking?!?!?

I was approaching home when I found the 2 cars of our tenants parked awkwardly in front of our building. I found out from our guard that our officials from our "beloved" barangay had started towing cars that are not parked properly. They said that the front bumpers of these cars are protruding and they shouldn't exceed our parking area. Instead, they should be parked beside the sidewalk. According to them, this will help the cars have an easier time passing through our street.

Huh???

If you would look at the picture, the Mitsubishi Lancer found on the right is the parking area for our tenant's cars. The cars are parked backwards facing the entrance of our building, and if they are parked that way, the front bumpers of these cars only occupy less than half of a car parallel-parked to the sidewalk!!!

I honestly don't know what these idiots were thinking. My cousin said they were just trying to find a good reason for us to pay them so they would allow us to park the way it's supposed to be. But I still don't understand them why they need to implement these kinds of policies in our place instead of coming up ways on how to reduce the crime rate in our vicinity of which my mom was a victim of.

All I could mutter is: "Mga utak nila nasa puwet nila!!!" (Translation: Their brains are in their asses!!!)

Tech Blog moving to a new home

not yet though. I still have to register the domain and pay for the webhosting services. I'll do all of these stuff by early next year.

it has been quite a hectic November for me and I am aware that my tech blog is not getting updated, even though i have a lot of thoughts to upload. my apologies, if ever a couple of people are trying to read them.

back to my tech blog transfer, all i could say is it's more on Windows Mobile but some tech thoughts will be included as well. but what makes it different from other tech blogs is the loony twist. i can assure you that it's not your ordinary tech blog, even the name of the blog will make you believe that it is a tech blog! to make this happen, i still have to get the commitment of that other person. yes, it will be the two of us who will manage the site, and we hope it will get the attention it needed.

for the meantime, i'll still try my best to update this blog as much as i could.
